• ARC 1: Ambitious, united, and always evolving. ARC’s First XV is the beating heart of our performance rugby program. The team is made up largely of players who have grown through every stage of their rugby journey at ARC, from youth to senior level, bringing with them a deep-rooted sense of club pride and connection. The team is further strengthened by international players who bring valuable experience and talent to strengthen our squad. Together, they form a team of lions who mean business, competing in the Dutch league with focus and ambition. ARC 1 is not a closed system. We’re always open to new players who are ready to commit, grow in a serious rugby environment, and contribute to a team that’s constantly evolving.
• ARC 2: For new heroes and seasoned warriors. Our second team is a vibrant mix of experienced players and emerging (often younger) talent. ARC 2 is where commitment and enjoyment go hand in hand, and where the club spirit is felt at every training session and match day. Here you’ll find players making their first steps in senior rugby, long-time veterans who can’t stay away from the game, and everything in between. ARC 2 trains alongside ARC 1, allowing both teams to challenge and elevate each other. Whether you’re returning from injury, getting back into the game after a few seasons off, or playing senior rugby for the first time, there’s always a place for you at ARC 2. The team is close-knit, but never closed. New players are welcomed quickly and feel at home, both on and off the field.
• ARC Ladies: stronger together, every match. The ARC Ladies are a close-knit and driven team at the heart of our club. On the field, it’s all about determination, growth, and teamwork. Off the field, it’s about friendship, fun, and connection. This is a team where you can be yourself and become your best, whether you're taking your first steps in rugby or have years of experience. The squad is a dynamic mix of seasoned players, young talent, and students from our partnership with A.D.S.R. Medusa. This blend brings energy, openness, and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone counts. With weekly training sessions, a clear team structure, and plenty of room for development, ARC Ladies is a team where you’ll quickly feel at home. And of course, it’s about more than just rugby, because playing together means building something meaningful together.
• ARC Lowlanders: The Amsterdam Lowlanders have been a valued part of the ARC family for many years. As an inclusive rugby team, they offer a space where LGBTQ+ players and their allies can train, compete, and grow together, with sportsmanship and camaraderie at the core. The teams combine a welcoming, safe atmosphere with a serious approach to the sport. The Lowlanders compete in the national league, take part in international tournaments like the Bingham Cup, and continue to build visibility, connection, and joy both on and off the field.
• ARC Wanderers: old enough to know better, fit enough to do it anyway. For those who never really stopped… The ARC Wanderers are a special group within our club: a team of seasoned players who still take to the field with passion and joy. Rugby with heart and humor—that’s what it’s all about. And the third half? We take that just as seriously as the first two.
