Na een zinderende finale, tegen BSN, beslist met een geweldige run en try van Raoul Kleinen, mocht captain Julius du Prie de beker die hoort bij de 1ste plaats in ontvangst nemen.
Werd er in de voorronde nog verloren van BSN, de enige verliespartij, in de finale liet het team met een gezamenlijke krachtsinspanning zien waartoe het in staat is.

AMSTELVEEN RC 1890 – plays in the First division in THE NETHERLANDS on route towards becoming the major force in Dutch Rugby in 2012 and thereafter. Throughout most of almost 50 year-old history we played in the country’s top division (EREKLASSE) at 15’s and 7’s, a few seasons ago we dropped to a lower division after reaching a boiling point, but we are now rebuilding strong teams for this season and the seasons to come. |
